What to expect?

During your first visit, Dr. Tetz will provide a preliminary diagnosis.

 Dr. Tetz will answer some common questions, such as:

• Is treatment needed?  When is the best time to start? 
• How long will it take? 
• What type of treatment is appropriate? 

This 15-minute appointment is looking only and will not hurt in any way.

Interested on when your child should see us? The American Dental Association and American Association of Orthodontics recommends an initial consult no later than age 7.  ​

The medical history and information forms are very important for this visit.  Please complete these forms for us prior to the appointment. Or print, fill out, and bring to your first appointment.

For your first visit :

1. ​Please bring the completed Health History Form.
2. Bring a photo ID and insurance card. 
3. We will need an x-ray called a Panorex or Panoramic x-ray for the first visit. This is important for the first exam so that we may see all of the teeth and roots. This x-ray needs to be no older than one year. Please contact your dental office for this x-ray.​ *If the patient doesn't have a current Panorex, please have one taken at the patient's dentist before the first visit, If the patient's dentist doesn't have a Panorex x-ray machine, please call and we will give instructions as to where to have one taken.
4.  Your first visit will be complimentary at no charge!
