DR. TETZ'S PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
Dr. Tetz started his higher education by earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) summa cum laude in Biology and Chemistry from Gettysburg College. Phi Beta Kappa.
He then became a dentist by earning a DMD dental degree with honors from the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry. Following time in the United States Public Health Service as a commissioned dental officer, Dr. Tetz completed an advanced orthodontic specialty program, earning a specialty degree in Orthodontics (MS) from The Ohio State University. Dr. Tetz is on faculty full-time in the Department of Orthodontics at The Ohio State University. He was also co-author of two publications in the American Journal of Orthodontics. Dr. Tetz has been a specialists in Orthodontics for over 25 years and has no plans to stop in the next decade. An Orthodontist is a Specialist in Orthodontics who has received an additional 2 or more years of orthodontic specialty training after receiving a dental degree (DMD or DDS). |
DR. TETZ'S PERSONAL INTERESTs
Dr. Tetz encourages reading! He started to encourage reading for his patients by the "MEASURE YOUR SUCCESS BY THE BOOKS YOU READ” bookmarks program over 20 years ago. He also enjoys hiking with a large format camera and traveling to National Parks. Dr. Tetz enjoys studying birds, plants, history, biographies, and art. He lives near John Bryan State Park in Yellow Springs near the nature preserves. He also loves spending time in Pennsylvania visiting his Sister, nephews, and their families.
